My name is Coach Charlie Pavlak, and I dove at Lincoln-Way West High School in New Lenox, IL after a 9-year gymnastics career in my youth. I was a top-5 placer in my high school conference meets and qualified 3 times for the Illinois State Championships. After high school, I dove for 3 years at Northern Michigan University in Marquette where I earned a degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics. I placed in the top-8 multiple times in the Great Lakes Athletic Conference and was an Honorary All- American at NCAA Division II Nationals in my junior year.

This will be my fourth year coaching dive, and second year teaching, at ACP after starting the dive program in 2020.

Last year, during the 2022 season, we had tremendous success at all of our dual meets and invites, and we sent 3 divers to the DIII State Championships where they placed 15th, 7th & 1st overall.  During the 2021 season, we sent 1 diver to the DIII State Championships where they placed 1st overall.  During the 2020 season, we sent 6 Knight divers to the DIII State Championships.
